Dear Martial Arts friend,

I am very glad that you deliberate to look around on our sites. As an uppermost representative and international coordinator of the KIAB, I first of all once would sincerely like to welcome you. Whether you found us now by recommendation, by one of our community members or our advertisement, doesn’t matter. Either way, you get to read these lines and will hopefully enjoy. My execution to the subject “Membership in Associations”, knocks internationally on surprise. No wonder, I really try to coordinate an association, that is unique. Many association directors, presidents and leaders often promise the same, but unfortunately it turns out different at the end. With us, each member finds a friendly and familiar home in a large family community. We help organize and coordinate ourselves mutually and the respective country representatives do it alike. If you read the following pages attentively, you should actually loose your last doubts and will get a good feeling.

As a burned child, I am talking out of experience. They often promised me that the associations, in which I thought to find a new home, are free of sport politics. But unfortunately they did not hold their promise. In 1993, I established  the World Kun-Tai-Ko Budo Association with new ideas and the hope to find Worldwide many “Martial Arts friends”, that have the same opinion like me. An association needs people who mutually help and support themselves. People who are working for the athletes, our students and masters. We don’t need belt hunter, black belt mafia or money orientated battle athletes that try to pull the last penny out of our members pockets. Germany’s problem is the same like all around the World. Martial Arts officials always inquire for licenses and give you lots of regulations as well as innumerable ordinances. Those appear more and more in Martial Arts and causes major problems. Inside K.I.A.B., you find only a few regulations. All of you remaining in good standing as well as are faithfull with K.I.A.B find a perfect home and new family. Because we only have a very few rules, I insist on them, and members have follow these guidelines and rules. According to my opinion, people especially Martial Artists, must always be honest in life.

Esspecially in the Martial Arts where we must depend always on our partner, counts honesty and being faithful very much. In case you decide to join us as a single member or with your Dojo, large friendship and many interesting meetings, national and international courses, tournaments and also training camps will arise. We will have plenty of fun together and grow into a colourful future..

With two well known Asian wisdoms, I would like say WELCOME:

“Also a way of 1000 miles begins with a first step”
